Roman Sergejewitsch Sharonov ( Russian Роман Сергеевич Шаронов ; born September 8, 1976 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian football player . He was appointed as indoor or right -back used and was captain of Rubin Kazan . He was also a member of the Russian national team .
Career
society
Sharonov's first professional club was FC Lokomotiv-2 Moscow , the farm team of Lokomotiv Moscow . In 1997 he moved to China for Shanghai Fubao FC , but returned to Russia that same year. There he played for Metallurg Krasnoyarsk in the 2nd division . Two years later he moved to Rubin Kazan in the 1st division . With Rubin he rose to the Premjer league in 2002 .
In 2005 he moved to Terek Grozny . With the club he was relegated to the 1st division after one season. In the following two years Sharonov played for Terek Grozny and Shinnik Yaroslavl in the second division before returning to Rubin Kazan for the 2008 season. With Kazan he won the Russian championship in 2008 and 2009 and from 2009 also played in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League .
National team
Sharonov made his debut in the Russian national team on March 31, 2004 when he came on as a substitute in the friendly against Bulgaria at half-time. He played six more international matches in 2004, including the games against Spain and Greece at the 2004 European Championship .
After a good seven years without international appearances, Sharonov was appointed to the 2012 European Championship squad. His rival Vasily Berezuzki was not available due to an injury. Behind Alexei Berezuzki and Sergei Ignaschewitsch , however, Sharonov is only planned as a substitute. In the run-up to the European Championship, he made his eighth international appearance in the friendly against Uruguay on May 25, 2012.

In 2019, Sharonov became an interim coach at Rubin Kazan .
Private
Roman Sharonov is married to the television presenter Nadezhda Schejn for the second time. He has three children with her: Marusja (* 2005), Wassilissa (* 2010) and Lew (* 2011). In addition, Sharonov has a daughter named Anastasia (* 1998), who comes from his first marriage.
