The company Rosenberg Ventilatoren GmbH , based in Gaisbach , is active in the development and production of controllable external rotor motors , fans and box air conditioners in the air conditioning and ventilation technology sector.

The company employs around 1,400 people worldwide and has a turnover of around 150 million euros. Not all companies of the Rosenberg Group are consolidated by Rosenberg Ventilatoren GmbH. Together with other companies in the Heilbronn-Franken region , Rosenberg Ventilatoren is part of a training network , including R. Stahl AG , G emeinsamen A us B ildungs I nitiative (GABI).

In addition to the main plant in Gaisbach, the Rosenberg Group operates seven other plants in France , Hungary , Germany, Italy , Austria , the Czech Republic and the United States . The Rosenberg Group is represented in around 50 countries through sales offices .

Rosenberg Ventilatoren GmbH was founded by the former employee of Ziehl-Abegg Karl Rosenberg in 1981 in the Künzelsau district of Gaisbach. Today around 340 people are employed at this location.

The production of external rotor motors started in 1987. To reduce the dependency on external rotor motors, the production of air conditioning units began in 1990 . In 1993 , Rosenberg Ventilatoren began producing hand-wound stators in Klenci , Czech Republic .

With the start of production in Tokodaltáró , Hungary , the product portfolio of air conditioning units was expanded to include box air conditioning units in 1995 . Three years later, the production area in Tokodaltáró was expanded to 10,000 m² in order to be able to meet the needs of the Eastern European countries. In 2000 a new product line for box air conditioners was added in Glaubitz .

The product range now includes radial , axial , duct , roof and pipe fans , door air curtains , external rotor motors, box air conditioning units with heat recovery and the control and regulating devices necessary for controlling the fans / air conditioning units.

In the course of the takeover of ROX Lufttechnik GmbH in Weitefeld in 2006, the air conditioning technology business area was expanded. In addition, there is the new establishment of ROX Klimatechnik GmbH .

Sales organizations

For further expansion, Rosenberg Ventilatoren founded the first foreign branches in 1983. The company Airpro , now Rosenberg France SARL, was founded in Lyon for the French market . Rosenberg Ventilatoren holds 34% of the shares in the company. The Netherlands are served by Rosenberg Netherlands in Den Dolder . In 1998 sales offices followed in the Russian cities of Moscow , St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk . The Australian market has been served by the subsidiary in Melbourne since 2003 . In the same year, the Shanghai branch began serving the Chinese market . With the establishment of the branches in Kiev (Rosenberg Ukraina) and Dubai (Rosenberg Middle East) in 2004 the Ukrainian and Arab markets were opened up.

The Spanish company airtècnics , based in Castellar del Vallès , was founded in 1986 by Rosenberg Ventilatoren with partners. The company shares of the partners were completely taken over by Rosenberg Ventilatoren in 1993. airtècnics has specialized in the production of door air curtains .

In 1991 the production of belt drive fans in Waldmünchen was started by BavAiria Ventilatoren GmbH & Co KG, founded in 1988.

For the production of drum wheels , Rosenberg Ventilatoren founded the company DGT Rotor Srl in San Vito al Tagliamento , Italy , in 1992 with partners who now hold 27.5% . Today the company operates under the name Rosenberg Italia Srl.

The French fan manufacturer ECOFIT , founded in 1976 and based in Vendôme , was taken over by Rosenberg Ventilatoren in 1994 to 82.41%. ECOFIT exports 70% of its production, 30% of which to non- EU countries. Fans are produced by around 180 employees on 7000 m².

In 2002 ECOFIT took over the French competitor ETRI . ETRI has an American subsidiary in Charlotte Etri Inc. The American subsidiary was renamed Rosenberg USA in the course of the takeover .

Since 2005, the focus in development and production has been on energy-saving EC motors and fans. Motors with modern EC technology achieve efficiencies of over 90% and thus save up to 50% energy compared to conventional DC motors . The entire product range is mainly manufactured in the Rosenberg Group's own production facilities.
