The Rosskopf or Roßkopf is a 2670  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Karwendel in the background of the Hall valley . It lies in a ridge of the Gleirsch-Halltal chain between the Hinteren Bachofenspitze in the north and the Stempeljochspitzen in the south.

The easiest ascent leads in four hours from the Pfeishütte ( 1922  m above sea level ) through the Mittlere Sonntagkar . From the cirque you climb northeast towards a wall step leading to the connecting ridge to the Hinteren Bachofenspitze. Via Schrofen you reach the northwest ridge of the Rosskopf. You follow the ridge up to a notch in front of the summit, this is bypassed on the west side, and finally you reach the summit via Schrofen.
