In 1846 the Dominikalsiedlung Rowin or Rowina inscribed to Vorder-Třebáň consisted of 19 houses. The parish was Řewnitz . Until the middle of the 19th century the village remained subservient to the kk Tafel rulership of Karlstein in the Berauner district .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Rovina / Rowin 1850 a district of the municipality Zadní Třebaň in the judicial district Beroun. In 1868 the community Zadní Třebaň was assigned to the Hořowitz district . Rovina was umgemeindet in 1880 from Zadní Třebaň to Hlásná Třebaň. The emerging tourism, especially the proximity to Karlštejn Castle, led to the construction of the first holiday cottages in the 1930s. Rovina has belonged to the Okres Beroun since 1936.
