history

It is believed that Řitka was first mentioned in 1310 under the name Jegerdorf in a deed of donation for the Cistercian monastery Königsaal above the forest near Jegerdorf and Glynz ( silva versus Jegerdorf et Glynz ). However, other opinions assume that Jegerdorf was an earlier name for Bojov or Černolice or that it was a later extinct village in the valley of the Bojovský brook.

In 1387 a village Lhotka belonging to the Karlsteiner feuds called Rzytka ( Lhotka dicta Rzytka ) was mentioned for the first time. Its owners were from 1399 to 1416 the brothers Vaněk and Jakub Řitka von Lhota ( Řitkové ze Lhoty ). Possibly the place name derives from the Geschlechtitka family from Bezdědice, which was present in Central Bohemia at that time, and whose most famous representative was Janek Řitka. Jakub Řitka's sons sold the estate to Nikolaus Gfeller von Sachsengrün ( Mikuláš Kfelíř ze Zakšova ). His son-in-law Adam Rosendorfer von Plagwitz donated the property to the All Saints' Chapel at Prague Castle . There has been evidence of a fortress since 1416, and it went out in the second half of the 16th century. The place name was shortened to Rzytka from 1481 . In 1489 the once free farmers of Rzytka were made robots on the local farm. But they were not willing to submit to submission and left their homesteads. The numerous owners of the estate included u. a. Václav Vranovský of Doubravice, who sold it to Jan Věžský of Limuz ( Johann Wiezsky of Ljmuc ) for 300 groschen in 1561 . Since 1544 the whole village was in desolation, only the grounds of the fortress, their courtyard and the brewery were cultivated. Jan Věžský had the village repopulated and built a tavern in the forest on Passauer Straße for the carters passing through, where his beer was served. The new tavern was well received, much to the detriment of the two Kretschen in Čísovice and the Mníšek inns. From 1571 the name form Rzidka was also used. In 1586 the owner of the Mníšek manor, Count Wratislaw von Mitrowitz, successfully sued Jan Věžský for unauthorized serving in a place that was previously a forest. Despite the prohibition of the bar, the disputed tavern continued to exist because Jan Věžský had meanwhile sold the estate to Daniel Hrobschitzky von Hrobschitz . It was finally closed in 1595. In place of the desert festivals, a baroque palace was built in the middle of the 17th century. Georg Alexius Načeradský acquired the estate in the 17th century, and a hundred years later it belonged to Count Prokop von Kolowrat . From 1787 Georg Gustav Freiherr von Skronsky and Budčow was the owner of Řitka. He sold the estate to Franz Quolfinger von Steinsberg. After his death, the estate fell back to the court chamber in 1804. In 1829 Jacob Schmiedel Freiherr von Schmieden was enfeoffed with the Řitka estate by Emperor Franz I.

In 1845 the Řidka estate in the Berauner district comprised a usable area of 657 yokes 1025 square fathoms. Bučina was the manorial forest area. A quarry delivered paving stones to Prague and gravel for Passauer Strasse. The only village on the estate was the village of the same name Řidka . This consisted of 44 houses with 353 inhabitants, including a Jewish family. In Řidka there was an authoritarian castle, an authoritarian farm with a sheep farm, an authoritarian brewery, an authoritarian hunter's house and an inn. A chalupner tavern, which used to be a mill, was on the side. The parish was Lischnitz . Until the middle of the 19th century, Řidka was the official village of the property of the same name. The neighboring village of Weselka was subservient to Mnicek .

After the abolition of patrimonial Řídká formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Mníšek in the judicial district of Zbraslav . From 1868 the village belonged to the Smichow district . On June 4, 1870, Franziska Schmiedel von Schmieden sold the estate to Karl Leopold Klaudi and his wife Karoline. In 1876 the village was attached to the Lišnice commune at the request of the residents . The current place name Řitka has been used since 1924. Řitka and Veselka broke away from Lišnice in 1924 and formed the municipality of Řitka. In 1927 the village was assigned to Okres Praha-venkov, in 1942 to Okres Praha-venkov-jih and in 1949 to Okres Praha-jih. In 1932 there were 350 people living in Řitka with Veselka. In 1948, the large estates belonging to Elisabeth von Brandis were expropriated and nationalized. Řitka and Veselka grew together in the second half of the 20th century. Due to the good transport connections via the R 4 expressway and its scenic location on the Hřebeny, Řitka grew into a Prague suburban settlement.
