Kamenný Přívoz (German stone transfer ) is a municipality with 1,120 inhabitants and numerous weekend houses, which mostly belong to Prague citizens. It is located in the Czech district of Prague-West ( okres Praha-západ ).
The municipality extends on the lower reaches of the Sázava , four kilometers south of the city of Jílové u Prahy .

The villages Kamenný Újezdec ( Steinaujestetz ), Hostěradice ( Hostieraditz ) and Žampach ( Pochmühle ) belong to the municipality of Kamenný Přívoz .
history
The oldest district, Hostěradice, was originally a farm on the trade route from Prague to Austria . A settlement was established here in the 11th century. In 1205 ownership of the farms and the settlement passed to the Ostrov Monastery . After the monastery was destroyed during the Hussite Wars , ownership passed to the Lords of Lešany.
In 1520 the Lords of Týnec followed, who handed it over to the Lobkowitz family in 1563 . In the same year she bequeathed it to the chapter of St. Vitus Cathedral . In 1683 it was handed over to the Lords of Lešany.
The main source of income for the place was the logging industry, quarrying and the mining of gold.
