history

The first written mention of Bojanovice was in 1107, when Duke Svatopluk II donated the village to the Insula Benedictine monastery. On January 17, 1205, King Ottokar I Přemysl confirmed the donation to the monastery. In 1278, during the power struggles after the death of Ottokar II Přemysl, the Brandenburg troops of Otto IV murdered the area and plundered the monastery and its 24 surrounding villages. The famine of 1282 left the area deserted. With the extinction of the Přemyslids, a struggle for power in Bohemia began again, and Hvozdnice was devastated by Bavarian troops in 1309, as was the whole area between Zbraslav and Slapy . During the Hussite Wars , the Hussites , led by the priest Václav Koranda , conquered, looted and destroyed the monastery on August 14, 1420. In 1421, Vladike Jakoubek von Řitka took possession of the villages Bojanovice, Davle, Hvozdnice, Slapy, Sloup and Zahořany. King Sigismund gave him Bojanovice as a pledge in 1436. Insula Monastery never recovered. In 1517 the last Benedictines left the ruined monastery and moved to the daughter monastery of St. Johann under the rock . In 1657 the abbot of the monastery of St. John under the rock, Matthäus Ferdinand Sobek von Bilenberg , bought Bojanovice back from the von Řitka family along with other villages. After the abolition of the St. Johann unter dem Felsen monastery in 1785, the monastery property fell to the religious fund. On January 3, 1825, Karl Korb Ritter von Weidenheim ( Karel Bedřich Srb ) auctioned the Davle estate with all its accessories and combined it with the Slapy estate, which was also acquired, to form the Slapy estate . In 1845 the village Bojanowitz or Boganowitz in the Berauner district consisted of 34 houses with 271 inhabitants, including a Jewish family. The parish was St. Kilian ( Kilián ). Until the middle of the 19th century, Bojanowitz remained subordinate to Gut Dawle, which was part of the Schlapp rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Bojanovice / Bojanowitz with the district Bratřínov a municipality in the judicial district Zbraslav . From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Smichow district . The district Bratřínov broke away in 1890 and formed its own community. In 1891 the Korb von Weidenheim sold the large estate to Friedrich Graf von Westphalen zu Fürstenberg . In 1899 there were 338 people in Bojanovice. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1902. In 1906 a new school building was built. In 1927 Bojanovice was assigned to the Okres Praha-venkov. In 1928 the village had 390 inhabitants. In 1932 there were 518 people living in Bojanovice. In 1942 the municipality became part of the Okres Praha-venkov-jih. In 1949 Bojanovice was assigned to the Okres Praha-jih, since 1960 it has belonged to the Okres Praha-západ . in 1950 Bojanovice had 244 inhabitants, in 1970 there were 271. Schooling in Bojanovice ceased in 1978. Bratřínov, Malá Lečice and Senešnice were incorporated on January 1, 1980. On November 24, 1990 Bratřínov became independent again, Malá Lečice and Senešnice became an exclave. Bojanovice is now a resort; In the Bojanovice cadastre there are 109 houses and 206 recreational objects.
