Rudolf Habringer

Rudolf Habringer (born September 13, 1960 in Schwanenstadt / Upper Austria ; actually Rudolf Konrad Habringer ) is an Austrian writer.

Life

Rudolf Habringer attended the elementary school in Desselbrunn and the grammar school in Linz . Then studied it German and Religious Education at the University of Salzburg . He completed this course with a master's degree . He sat in at the state theaters in Linz and Salzburg, and from 1983 to 1985 he trained as a director for amateur theater ; at the same time he worked as a composer on cabaret programs and played various roles in theaters in Salzburg and Linz. In 1989/90 he was assistant director at the Salzburg State Theater . From 1990 to 1994 worked Habringer as a pianist in a dance theater - Ensemble with. In 1993 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . Habringer now lives as a freelance writer in Walding . He had great success in 2007 with the volume of short stories “Alles wird gut” and in 2008 with the novel “Iceland Passion”.

Rudolf Habringer is the author of novels , short stories , essays , plays and cabaret texts.

Rudolf Habringer is a member of the IG Authors Authors , the Graz Authors' Assembly , the Salzburg Authors' Group and the Linz Authors' Circle . In addition to various scholarships, he received the Max von der Grün Prize in 1989 and 1992 ; In 1990/91 he was a Linz story writer .
