Rudolph Schepler

Rudolph Schepler (born April 3, 1813 in Aurich ; † August 1, 1889 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer and judge in the Kingdom of Hanover . In 1867 he sat in the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Schepler attended the Ulricianum grammar school . From 1831 he studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and in 1831 he became active in the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . He moved to the Georg August University of Göttingen , where he also joined the Corps Frisia in 1832 .

After graduating, he entered the Hanoverian civil service in 1834. From 1834 he was an auditor and from 1837 an assessor at the offices in Wilhelmsburg , Winsen an der Luhe and Harburg . From 1840 he was at the office in Norden as well as acting mayor in Esens and as examining magistrate in Wittmund . In 1852 he became a senior judge and bailiff in Aurich. In 1859, he came as a bailiff to empty . When he was transferred to the Isenhagen office in 1860 , he asked for his dismissal. He became city director in Jever in December 1860 , but resigned from this position in May 1861. Until 1863 he was a member of the senior citizens' council in Aurich and then a bailiff of the Neuenhaus district . In 1868 he was District Chief in Leer, which he remained until his retirement 1879th From 1880 he lived in Hanover for eight years before returning to his homeland.

In 1863 he became a member of the Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover , the East Frisian Estates Assembly and (until 1866) the Second Hanover Chamber . In 1867 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Hanover 2 ( Aurich , Wittmund , Leer ) and the Conservative Party .

Schepler was married twice and had two daughters and a son.
