Rusconi first released two albums on independent Swiss labels and then signed with Sony Music Germany, which released the album One Up Down Left Right in 2009 . Stefan Rusconi in particular wrote the music for all three albums. With the album It's a Sonic Life 2010 he dealt with the oeuvre of Sonic Youth.

In 2012, Rusconi separated from Sony Music Entertainment by mutual agreement and founded her own label, Qilin Records . With this step, Rusconi wanted to enable her fans to support them financially more directly than would be possible in the age of free downloads from a major label . The band has now published their recordings on CD, partly also or exclusively ( It's a Sonic Life + Whistler & Hustler Session ) on vinyl LP. The group published a manifesto due to the changed market situation . On March 2, 2012, she released her famous album Revolution for download at Bandcamp . At the same time she produced LPs of her last two albums and released them for download. From December 2012 to 2015 the French label BeeJazz distributed their album Revolution electronically worldwide (also available on CD). After BeeJazz went bankrupt , the band took over the licenses and continues to sell all of their music through their own label Qilin Records.

The live album Rusconi + Fred Frith - live in Europe , released in 2016 on Qilin Records, was her last. At the end of 2017, the band broke up by mutual agreement. On your band side they thank you for the keen interest and support over the past 14 years.

Rusconi has given concerts in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, England, Sweden, Belgium, Moldova, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, China and Korea.

style

The styles and influences range from the avant-garde of electronic music ( e.g. Aphex Twin ) to noise rock (e.g. Sonic Youth ) to the greats of pop ( Radiohead ).
