Ruth Reinecke (born January 11, 1955 in Berlin ) is a German actress on the theater stage and on television.

Life

Ruth Reinecke completed her acting training at the State Drama School in Berlin, which is now the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts . Her first engagement was at the Schwerin State Theater .

Since 1979 she has been engaged at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin . Her first successes were in productions by Christoph Schroth , Thomas Langhoff , and Rolf Winkelgrund ; she also worked with BKTragelehn , Sebastian Baumgarten , Jan Bosse , Stefan Bachmann u. v. a. In 2002 she directed the staged reading “ Communism retold for the mentally ill” . From 2003–2005 she developed and played the solo evening “ Is a little self-deception not vital ” (texts by Maxie Wander ), and in 2005 the solo evening “ And suddenly the sea falls into the room ” (texts by Inge Müller ).

She works regularly for television and was seen in the successful series Weissensee between 2010 and 2018 in the role of Marlene Kupfer . Directed by Friedemann Fromm .
