The gmina wiejska Ryńsk (until 2016: gmina wiejska Wąbrzeźno ) is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Wąbrzeski in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship . It counts 8,569 inhabitants (June 30, 2019) and has an area of 200.8 km², of which 12% is forest and 75% is agricultural area. The administrative seat of the rural community is the city of Wąbrzeźno [ vɔmˈbʒɛʑnɔ ] ( German Briesen ), which does not belong to you. Since 2017 the village Ryńsk ( Rynsk , 1902–1945 Rheinsberg ) has been named after it .
