Ryan Bittle

Ryan James Bittle (born March 21, 1976 in La Crescenta-Montrose , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Ryan Bittle is the son of Kathy Home and Jim Bittle, a retired fire department captain. He has a younger brother Ron and an older brother Jeff. He attended Crescenta Valley High School, Pasadena City College, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and Juilliard School .

Ryan Bittle originally wanted to be an NCAA water polo player, but decided to attend medical school before he discovered acting. In his senior year, he left college for a while to take on a role on the television series Sweet Valley High . After two seasons, he left the series to graduate from school.

While studying at Pasadena City College, he took other acting jobs. He has guest roles on Buffy , Life and Me, and The Parent Hood . He also played in Tear it Down , Devil in Blood and The Clown at Midnight .

While filming The Clown at Midnight with Christopher Plummer , Bittle decided to leave Hollywood in order to have more time to study at the Juilliard School in New York. In New York he appeared in numerous productions with actors such as Nathan Baesel , Jennifer Carpenter , Daniel Breaker and James Martinez .

Upon his return to Los Angeles , Ryan had a recurring role on the hit series Dawson's Creek . He also had several guest appearances in well-known series such as CSI: Miami , CSI: NY , Numbers - The Logic of Crime and Navy CIS .

Bittle is interested in golf and tennis . He also teaches high school water polo and has had a private flying license since 2001.
