The Sächsische II b was a passenger train tank locomotive of the Royal Saxon State Railways . The locomotives were built for the Chemnitz-Würschnitzer railway company , which was taken over by the state railway in 1882 .
They had a semicircular standing boiler, a steam dome with a spring balance safety valve, a horizontal outer cylinder, an internal Stephenson control and an inner fork frame. Until 1865 the locomotives did not have a closed driver's cab.
