history
The locomotive was manufactured in 1917 by the Sächsische Maschinenfabrik in Chemnitz with the serial number 3981 for the Schwellentränkwerk Wülknitz (today: Oberbauwerk Wülknitz) as a shunting locomotive . For reasons of fire protection, the use of a “fire-free” locomotive was desired, especially since there was enough process steam available to operate the locomotive.
Around 1970 the locomotive in the Wülknitz superstructure was decommissioned and scrapped.

Four similar locomotives were built between 1914 and 1916 for various industrial companies. The locomotives differed both in the dimensions of the steam engine and in the permitted operating pressure of the steam container. One locomotive (for Lange / Auerhammer) was designed as a crane locomotive .
