The gmina wiejska Słupca is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Słupca in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Słupca (German Slupca ). The rural community, to which the town of Słupca itself does not belong, has an area of 145 km², on which (as of June 30, 2019) 9263 people live.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community was part of the Konin Voivodeship .
geography
The municipality is located about 70 kilometers east of the city of Poznan and 15 kilometers east of the city of Września ( Wreschen ). The territory of the rural municipality includes the town of Słupca in the west, south and east.
