The 1967/68 season was the 37th season of the Finnish SM sarja . Champion was the first time in club history at all Koo-Vee . TPS Turku and Kärpät Oulu were relegated to the 2nd division.

In the main round, each of the eleven teams played a total of 20 games. The first place in the main round was champion. The last two placed were relegated to the 2nd division. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
