Time after World War II

After the Second World War, the club competed in the then second-rate season 1945/46 in the Kurhessenliga and finished in 11th place there, which was just enough to prevent relegation. In the next season , the club was sorted into the Fulda group . Due to the necessary thinning, the fifth place in the group was not enough for the club and thus the team was relegated to the district class. For the 1959/60 season , the promotion to the meanwhile third-class 1st amateur league Hessen was successful . As the last of the table, the team then immediately rose again.

Promotions without a championship title

In the 2003/04 season, the club played in the district league Fulda Süd and finished third at the end of this season. After the 2005/06 season with 80 points, the promotion to the regional league region Fulda was successful . In the first region there, the team placed fifth with 62 points. After the 2010/11 season, the team landed in second place and qualified for the relegation to the association league . In the promotion round consisting of four teams, however, the team only emerged as third, which should not be enough for promotion. The same situation was repeated after the next season. This time, however, the SV emerged as the winner of this relegation, which entitled to the only promotion place this season. From the association league, the team then immediately rose again over 17th place. Back in the league, which is now called the group league, after the following season it was only enough for 55 points and seventh place. After the 2014/15 season, the team reached second place again and qualified for the promotion round. From this, the team emerged again as the winner. This time the team was able to hold the league over 11th place and 44 points. After the 2018/19 season, the team once again reached second place and was now allowed to participate in the promotion to the Hessenliga. The first place in front of TuS Dietkirchen could also be achieved here, which means that the team has returned to its old league after almost 50 years. The club still plays in this league today.
