Saint-Raphaël Var Handball is a French sports club from Saint-Raphaël , whose handball team plays in the 1st French league . In 1963 it was founded as a handball department in the Association Sportive Fréjus-Saint Raphael ( l'ASFSR ). The association has had its current name since 1995. The part of the name Var stands for the Var department .
