Sami Solh (also Sami as-Solh ; Arabic سامي الصلح, DMG Sāmī aṣ-Ṣulḥ ; * 1887 in Mutesarriflik Lebanonberg ; † 1968 ) was a politician from Greater Lebanon . Coming from an important Sunni - Muslim family, he was a member of parliament for Beirut and Lebanese Prime Minister several times .

In the French League of Nations mandate , he was appointed Prime Minister on July 26, 1942, which he remained until March 22, 1943. After the country gained independence, he was Prime Minister from August 20, 1945 to May 22, 1946, then from February 11 to September 9, 1952, from September 16, 1954 to September 19, 1956 and from November 18, 1956 to on September 10, 1958.
