Santa Rosa de Cabal is a municipality ( municipio ) in the department of Risaralda in Colombia .

Santa Rosa de Cabal is located in the south of Risaralda in the Colombian coffee zone (Eje Cafetero) , 15 km from Pereira , at an altitude of 1701 m above sea level. NN and has an average annual temperature of about 19 ° C. The municipality is located on the west side of the central cordillera of the Andes . The municipality borders in the north on Palestina , Chinchiná and Villamaría in the Departamento de Caldas , in the south on Pereira and Dosquebradas , in the east on Villamaría and Santa Isabel in the Departamento de Tolima , and in the west on Pereira, Marsella and Dosquebradas.
