Álvaro Mejía (cyclist)
Álvaro Mejía Castrillón (born January 19, 1967 in Santa Rosa de Cabal , Risaralda ) is a former Colombian cyclist . In his home country he won the overall classification of the Clásico RCN , one of the most important stage races in Colombia , in 1988 and 1990 . Between 1990 and 1995 he took part in the Tour de France and was able to finish the race five times. In 1991 he won the white jersey of the young drivers and in 1993 he was fourth overall.
