Santeri Hostikka (born September 30, 1997 in Järvenpää ) is a Finnish football player who has been under contract with the Polish first division club Pogoń Stettin since January 2019 . The winger is a former Finnish U21 international .

Career

Hostikka began his professional career at Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa in the third class Kakkonen , where he made his first appearances in the 2014 season. In the 2015 season, as a teenager, he scored four goals in 24 league games.

For the 2016 season he signed a one-year contract with the first division club FC Lahti with an option for a further year. For his new club he made his debut on January 23rd in a 1-0 home win in the Liigacup against Helsingfors IFK . In the 2-2 draw against IFK Mariehamn on February 12, he scored for the first time for FC Lahti in the same competition. With the final victory against the SJK Seinäjoen you won this cup on March 19th. He scored his first league goal on April 18 in a 2-2 draw against Helsingfors IFK. During this season he met six times in 37 competitive games and assisted eight more goals. In the next season 2017 he scored three goals in 30 league games and collected eight assists. In his third season in 2018 for FC Lahti, he netted four times and gave one template.

On December 19, 2018, he signed a 3-1 / 2-year contract with the Polish first division club Pogoń Stettin . He made his debut on March 3, 2019 (24th matchday) in a 3-2 away win against Wisła Krakow when he came on as a substitute for Zvonimir Kožulj in the closing stages . In the remaining 2018/19 season , he was used in eight games.
