National team

Michał Żyro played since the U-16s for almost all youth teams of the Polish Football Association and made his debut for the Polish U-20s on August 31, 2011 in the game against the German U-20s (2-4), when he was in the starting line-up and also scored a hit.

On May 2, 2012, he was nominated by national coach Franciszek Smuda for the reserve squad for the 2012 European Football Championship in Poland and Ukraine , although he had not yet played an international match. But since no one was injured, he was not nominated again.

Instead of participating in the European Championship, Żyro therefore made his debut for the Polish U-21s against Moldova (4-2) on June 1, 2012 when he was in the starting line-up.
