Soufian Benyamina (born March 2, 1990 in Berlin ) is a German football player of Algerian descent. He is the younger brother of Karim Benyamina . He is under contract with the Polish club Pogoń Stettin .

Career

His first club were the Reinickendorfer Füchse . Then he played u. a. at MSV Normannia 08 , Nordberliner SC , Tasmania Gropiusstadt , Hertha BSC and then it went to the A-youth of 1. FC Union Berlin . He moved to the 2009/10 season for third division side FC Carl Zeiss Jena , where he was initially scheduled for the second team. Due to good training performance, he came on the second match day of the 3rd division to his debut in the first team when he came on in the 81st minute for Salvatore Amirante . And on the following match day in a 6-0 win against FC Bayern Munich's second team , he made a brief appearance.

After the 2009/10 season he moved to the second team at VfB Stuttgart , where he signed a three-year contract. On December 8, 2012 Soufian Benyamina made his debut in the 3-1 home win against FC Schalke 04 under coach Bruno Labbadia for the first team in the Bundesliga . On January 19, 2013 Benyamina completed another game against VfL Wolfsburg for the Bundesliga team of Stuttgart. After playing in the third division for VfB II in the remaining games of the 2012/13 season, his contract was not extended.

For the 2013/14 season he moved to the second division team Dynamo Dresden . In the 2nd Bundesliga he made his debut on July 29, 2013 (2nd matchday) in a 1-1 draw at VfL Bochum .

During the winter break of the 2013/14 season, Benyamina moved on loan to third division club Preußen Münster and for the 2014/15 season to SV Wehen Wiesbaden , which he left after just one year. His new club was the third division Hansa Rostock .

His debut on board Kogge was on September 5, 2015. Benyamina was used for the full distance of 90 minutes in the away game in Aue . One match day later, in the home game against Energie Cottbus (1: 1), he scored his first league goal for Hansa. He hit his head in the 65th minute. Banyamina played all other third division games for the coastal football team from Rostock in 2015 and scored two more goals. During the winter break of the 2015/16 season he suffered a broken shin during a test match at the training camp in Lara, Turkey against the U-23s from Fortuna Düsseldorf after an opponent fouled him. As a result, this means the end of the season for Benyamina. Soufian Benyamina made his next appearance for Hansa Rostock on the 1st matchday of the 2016/17 season . His coach Christian Brand relied on his qualities and changed Benyamina in the 72nd minute in the away game in Regensburg (0: 2) for Marcel Ziemer . Benyamina's shin injury forced him to take another break. This was ended on October 8, 2017, Benyamina came on as a substitute for the second half of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania regional cup against SV Plate . He scored the 8-0 final score with a penalty in the 90th minute. In the further course of the 2016/17 season, Benyamina made a total of 20 third division appearances and a total of four goals. Within the following season he was on the field 35 times for Rostock and was able to score 11 hits.

He won the regional cup three times with FC Hansa . Benyamina made a total of 82 competitive appearances in Rostock in which he hit between the posts twenty-four times. Despite an early contract offer from the Hansa Rostock association, an extension of the contract between Benyamina and the cog did not materialize. Instead, Benyamina moved to the Polish first division club Pogoń Stettin and signed a contract there for two years.

In a test match of his new club against the Polish third division club Błękitni Stargard , Benyamina was seriously injured. A triple fracture of the skull was found.
