Satellite Awards / Nikola Tesla Award
The Nikola Tesla Award was given for the first time in 2003 by the International Press Academy as a special award for special recognition of pioneers in film technology, who through their future-oriented works have a lasting impact on their field and future generations and promote further innovations.
The award bears the name of a scientist whose numerous inventions and discoveries shape our technology. The award, a bronze bust of the physicist and inventor Nikola Tesla in a thinking pose, was created by the Serbian sculptor Dragan Radenović.
