Satellite Awards / Film / Best Film

The Satellite Award for Best Film honors those films that have been made outstanding in terms of film art. Before 2011, this award was given to both the best film in the drama category and the best film in the comedy / musical category. As of 2016, this award is available for both " major " and " independent films ".

Awards are always given to the films from the previous year.
