Satellite Awards / Mary Pickford Award
The Mary Pickford Award is the most prestigious award from the International Press Academy and is presented for the life's work of an outstanding artist in the film industry. The award is named after Mary Pickford , co-founder of the United Artists film studio and pioneer of early film history, who began her career as a child star and became the darling of the film industry.
The award, a bronze bust of Mary Pickford on a marble plinth, was created by the Serbian sculptor Dragan Radenović.
