The Satellite Award Best Miniseries / TV Film honors outstanding miniseries or TV films . This prize was awarded from 1996 to 1998, as well as from 2011 to 2013 and has only been awarded again since 2016. Between 1999 and 2010 and in both years 2014 and 2015, the two categories of mini-series and television film received separate awards.
