The house at Schmale Strasse 20 is a listed residential building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building is located north of the market square in the historic old town of Quedlinburg. The house on the west side of Schmalen Straße is on the corner of the confluence with Aegidiikirchhof street . It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed in the Quedlinburg Monument Register.
Architecture and history
The three-storey half - timbered house was built around 1660. The striking gable , which characterizes the street scene , is oriented towards Schmalen Straße . The compartments are provided with decorative lining. Ship throats and rounded beam heads can be found on the thresholds . The profiled framing of the door dates from the early 18th century.
The building is currently (as of 2012) in need of renovation.
