Schmale Strasse 52 (Quedlinburg)
The house at Schmale Straße 52 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the east side of Schmalen Strasse . The building, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg Register of Monuments . To the north is the also listed building on Schmale Strasse 51 . Until 1987, the half-timbered house at Schmale Strasse 53 stood south . Today there is a replacement building there.
Architecture and history
The two-story half - timbered house was built in 1821 according to a building inscription. The compartments of the simple facade are provided with ornamental brickwork. The framework is constructed in the form of the so-called stand rhythm . There is a profile plank. There is an inscription on the threshold .
There is a large skylight above the early classical front door .
