List of petroleum refineries
This list includes petroleum refineries as well as special refineries if they process petroleum products or crude oil. Both refineries that are in operation and those that have already been shut down are recorded. Companies that do not belong to the actual mineral oil companies and war projects are not recorded. In order to achieve international comparability, capacities are given in tons / year as well as barrels / day as well as the respective Nelson index .
