Schmale Strasse 5 (Quedlinburg)
The house at Schmale Straße 5 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the west side of Schmalen Strasse . The building, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is entered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a merchant's house. The house Schmale Strasse 4 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the south and Schmale Strasse 6 to the north .
Architecture and history
The three-storey baroque half-timbered house was built around 1740. It is crowned in the middle by a large dwelling house . There are profiled planks both on the dwelling and on the thresholds of the building. The compartments are provided with decorative lining.
