Natural monument

The divided village linden tree in the middle of the village is worth seeing.

traffic

The place is on the Bebra-Baunatal-Guntershausen railway line and so far all trains have passed without stopping. The North Hessian traffic group , however, has been planning the introduction of Kassel Regiotram the construction of two outdoor platforms that match the RegioCitadis railcars are to receive a height of 38 centimeters. Due to the system, this is necessary to enable barrier-free boarding both on the railway lines and in the inner-city network of the Kassel tram . The neighboring Melsungen Bartenwetzerbrücke station was also built taking this peculiarity into account . The announcement by Deutsche Bahn that it would no longer make an exception to the standard platform height led to a report in the category Real Madness in the satirical magazine extra 3 .

The federal highway 83 runs west across the river.
