The Swedish U-18 national soccer team is a Swedish junior national soccer team . Until 2001, she represented the Kingdom of Sweden as a selection team in the U-18 age group, particularly in UEFA competitions. After UEFA raised the age limit to 19, only friendly matches for the younger generation have been played in preparation for the U-19 national team .

The U-18 team first appeared in the UEFA youth tournament in 1963 , and since 1981 they have regularly participated in qualifying for the newly introduced U-18 European Championship . By the time the age limit was raised in 2001, the selection team had qualified for a final tournament five times. The greatest success was reaching the quarter-finals at the 1990 European Championship finals .
