Scilla albescens is a species of squill ( Scilla ) in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae).

Scilla albescens is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 3 to 50 centimeters. This geophyte forms onions as persistent organs. The 2 (rarely up to 4) leaves are light to dark green, runny, upright, pointed, 1.5 to 12 millimeters wide and have no red border. The stem is one to five flowers and only a little reddish in the upper area. The perianth is grown together to 1/4. The inner and outer petals are roughly the same width. Their underside is white, only the median nerve is pale purple in color. The top of the top is pale purple. The stamens lean apart. There are 2 to 3 ovules per carpel .
The flowering period extends from April to July.
Occurrence
Scilla albescens is on Crete in the regional districts of Rethymno , Iraklio and Lasithi endemic . The species grows on snow soils, clay areas, hedgehog cushion heaths and in mountain forests at altitudes of 1,300 to 2,400 meters.
Systematics
The status of Scilla albescens and the demarcation of this clan from Scilla nana are unclear.
