Sebastian Hinze (born April 26, 1979 in Wuppertal ) is a German handball trainer and former player.

Career

Sebastian Hinze was initially active as a handball player at TG Cronenberg, LTV Wuppertal and SG Solingen . From 2006 onwards, the 1.83-meter-tall runner played in the second division Bergischer HC , which was created through the merger of LTV Wuppertal with SG Solingen , with whom he was promoted to the first division in 2011 at the end of his playing career .

During his active time he was involved as a coach in the youth field. In 2010 Hinze took over the coordination of the youth department of the Bergisches HC.

After the Bergische HC put the trainer Hans-Dieter Schmitz on leave in May 2012 , Hinze temporarily took over the coaching position for the last three game days together with Cotrainer Chrischa Hannawald and the player Kristoffer Kleven Moen. Since the 2012/13 season he has been the head coach of the BHC, with whom he rose to the 1st division in 2013.
