Career

Gutbrod started playing at TV 1893 Neuhausen when he was a B-youth . In summer 2007 he switched to FRESH ON! Goeppingen . Gutbrod had a sponsorship license for the Neuhaus regional league team , so he was eligible to play for TVN and Göppingen. From 2011 to 2013 Gutbrod played at HBW Balingen-Weilstetten .

Gutbrod has been playing for Bergisches HC since the beginning of the 2013/14 season; he got a contract there for two years.

Sporting successes

  • Promotion to the regional league with TV Neuhausen / Erms 2007.
  • Promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with TV Neuhausen / Erms in 2009.
  • Vice European Champion at the Junior European Championship 2008 in Romania
  • World Champion at the 2009 Junior World Championships in Egypt
