Localization of Saarland in Germany

The transmitter Blieskastel (also called transmitter Bliestal) is a broadcasting facility of the Saarland broadcasting company for the distribution of radio programs in the southeastern Saarland. The location is north of Blieskastel-Webenheim. In the station tables of the broadcasters it is listed as the station Bliestal . Commissioning took place in 1969. A 67 meter high tubular steel mast is used as the antenna carrier.

Digital radio (DAB / DAB +)

The digital radio ( DAB + ) is broadcast in vertical polarization and in single-frequency mode with other transmitters. Until January 7, 2012, DAB channel 8B was broadcast along with private radio programs. Since the switch to DAB channel 9A, only SR radio programs are currently broadcast.
