Senijad Ibričić (born September 26, 1985 in Kotor Varoš ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player who also has Croatian nationality.
Career
societies
Ibričić started his career at Podgrmeč Sanski Most . From 2004 to 2008 he played for the NK Zagreb . In July 2008 he signed a four-year contract with league rivals Hajduk Split . Since March 2011 he played for the Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow .
In the summer of 2012 he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig at Gaziantepspor . He scored an important goal for Gaziantep in the surprising 1-1 away draw on November 30, 2012 at leaders Galatasaray . As early as the winter break 2012/13, he dissolved his contract with Gaziantepspor and moved to Kasımpaşa Istanbul within the Süper Lig .
In the summer of 2013 he moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor within the league . For the second half of the 2014/15 season Ibričić moved to the Macedonian club Vardar Skopje . With this club he finished the season as Macedonian champion . In the summer of 2015 he returned to Turkey and played half a season for the second division side Karşıyaka SK . He then moved to Iranian first division club Sepahan FC in January 2016 .
For the 2016/17 season Ibričić moved to the Slovenian first division club FC Koper and played 30 competitive games and scored seven goals. The FC Koper received no license for the following season and was forced to relegate and the league competitor and European cup contender NK Domžale hired Ibričić for their own team.
National team
On February 2, 2005 Ibričić made his debut in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian senior team . He was substituted on for the game in Iran. He scored his first goal for the senior national team on August 28, 2008 in the 2-1 defeat by Bulgaria .
At the Football World Cup in Brazil in 2014 , he was accepted as a supplementary player in the Bosnia-Herzegovina player squad at the age of 29 and was not used during the tournament under national coach Safet Sušić . After the group stage, his team retired early. Ibričić then announced his resignation from the national team. In total, he ran 42 times for the A selection from Bosnia-Herzegovina and scored four goals.
