Senta Sommerfeld

Senta Sommerfeld (* 1921 in Leipzig ; † 2018 in Hamburg) was a German theater and film actress . From 1965 she played in numerous German television games and series.

Life

Senta Sommerfeld was engaged at the New Operetta Theater in her hometown of Leipzig in 1940 and around 1942 as a solo dancer at the municipal theaters in German-occupied Łódź .

In the 1960s and 1970s, Sommerfeld was part of the ensemble of the Karl May Games in Bad Segeberg . With these she worked in several adaptations of novels by Karl May . Some of the productions in which Sommerfeld participated were also broadcast by the North German radio , such as Old Surehand (1965) and the first two parts of the Winnetou trilogy in 1976 . From 1969 she was in Heinz Erhardt's play Das one has now to see about it, which was recorded as a television play in 1971 and broadcast on ZDF . In the 1980s she lived in Hamburg and was a member of the Ernst Deutsch Theater ensemble . With this she was on stage in The Marriage of Nikolai Gogol in 1984 and toured Germany in 1986 with Gerhart Hauptmann's play Fuhrmann Henschel . Since the 1990s, Sommerfeld was mainly seen in guest appearances in individual episodes of popular television series.
