Sergei Evgenjewitsch Alexandrov ( Russian Серге́й Евгеньевич Александров ; born April 29, 1978 in Tashkent , Uzbek SSR ) is a former Kazakh ice hockey player who played for Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk for almost his entire career .

Career

Sergei Alexandrow started his career at Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk , where he spent almost his entire career and for which he played in various Russian leagues and in the Kazakh championship , which he and his team were elected in 2002 when he himself was voted the most valuable player in the league. 2004, 2005 and 2007 won, played. In 2007 the national cup competition was also won. It was Alexandrov himself who scored the winning goal in extra time in the final against Barys Astana . Only in the 2011/12 season he played for HK Buran Voronezh in the Pervaya League and rose with the club at the end of the season in the Wysschaya Hockey League .

International

Alexandrow won the U18 championship of Asia and Oceania in 1996 with the Kazakh youngsters . He himself was elected to the tournament's all-star team. With the Kazakh U20 team , whose record player he is with 23 appearances to this day, he played at the C2 World Championship in 1995 , the C World Championship in 1996 , the B World Championship in 1997 and the A World Championship in 1998 , three times in a row Promotion and thus the march through from the C2 group, the then lowest division, to the A group as the strongest division.

In the senior division he played with the Kazakh national team at the B-World Championships in 1999 and 2000 . After changing over to the current division system, he played in Division I in 2001 , 2002 and 2009 and in the top division in 2004 and 2005 . He took part in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , having previously been used in qualifying for the Turin Games . He was also on the ice when qualifying for the Winter Games in Vancouver 2010 , but could not qualify with the Kazakhs. He also represented his colors at the Winter Asian Games 1999 , in which the Kazakhs won the ice hockey competition, the Winter Asian Games 2003 and the Winter Asian Games 2007 , where second place was achieved behind Japan .
