Severin Groebner (born October 20, 1969 in Vienna ) is an Austrian cabaret artist .

Career

In 1993 Groebner appeared for the first time with the pianist Klaus Gröll in Viennese coffee houses, from which the music-cabaret duo "Gröll & Groebner" emerged. This occurred with four programs until 1999:

  • 1994 The Whole Truth (and 3 quarters)
  • 1995 Funny is different
  • 1996 already. Again .
  • 1997 GUT - The program to improve the world

Groebner had an engagement as an actor with the "Sparverein die Unzertrennlichen" since 1995 , where he was on stage in When the Saints go Cycling in by Flann O'Brien among others together with Martin Puntigam , directed by Kurt Palm . The solo programs and appearances followed:

  • 1997 50 years of the national anthem together with I Stangl and Steffi Paschke in the Wiener cabaret Niedermair
  • 1998 The electronic diary together with “ Die Konsorten ” and Natalia Weiss, a monthly cabaret-literary performance with text, music and images in the Vienna Sargfabrik and in the Museum of Applied Arts
  • 1999 The fine gentlemen in the art pieces together with the cabaret artists Steinböck, Rudle, Bogner and Ludl
  • 1999 Groebner Unfug the 1st solo program, premiere October 7, 1999 in the cabaret Niedermair , Vienna
  • 2000 Groebner Unfug - the Remix New presentation of the Unfug program together with consorts in the Gasthaus Vorstadt, Vienna
  • 2000 Till Eulenspiegel as an author, children's musical in the cabaret Niedermair , Vienna
  • 2000 Der Watzmann calls in the role of "Bua" together with Manfred diving and Gabi Rothmüller in the Lustspielhaus, Munich (until summer 2002)
  • 2000 The Long Night of Cabaret II (together with W. Brix, O. Lendl, M. Supandcic and I. Stangl in the cabaret Niedermair , Vienna)
  • 2002 Monster des Everyday Cabaret comic show together with the Munich comic artist Christian Moser , based on characters in his book of the same name "Monster des Alltags"
  • 2003 Seriously , the 3rd solo program, premiered October 28, 2003 in the Bar & Co in the Drachengasse theater , Vienna
  • 2003 Siegfried - A Germanical in the title role together with Alexander Liegl , Manfred diving, Gabi Rothmüller in the Munich Lustspielhaus
  • 2003 Buster Keaton play with Liese Lyon ; Director Nehle Dick for the "ORF Radiokulturhaus"
  • 2004 Monster des Everyday - Reloaded the 2nd part of the comic cabaret show with Christian Moser
  • 2004 Sows for the pearls - humor after the season quarterly show in the Atomic Café , Munich
  • 2005 Nicolas Mahler's art theory versus Frau Goldgruber comic reading in the "Caricature and Cartoon Museum", Basel
  • 2005 Groebner collected - a factory show premiere April 19, 2005 in the cabaret Niedermair , Vienna
  • 2005 Sex, Money and Fine Art together with Susanne Brantl and Werner Winkler in the Theater Drehleier, Munich
  • 2005 Lauter Liebe people the 4th solo program, premiere September 19, 2005 in the Drachengasse theater, Vienna

After living in Munich for a few years and later in Mainz, Groebner currently lives in Frankfurt am Main .
