Liese Lyon (* 1973 in Paris , France ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Liese Lyon completed her acting training from 1993 to 1996 at the Krauss drama school in Vienna . During her training, she was between 1994 and 1996 as an apprentice at the Burgtheater in Vienna involved. 1996-1997 she attended the Dell 'Arte School of Physical Theater in Northern California .

From 2012 she appeared regularly at various venues in the Rhine-Main area , such as at the Zimmertheater Frankfurt, the Gallus Theater and the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm .

In the 2015/16 season she was a guest at the Staatstheater Darmstadt as Grete in the play The President by Werner Schwab. She also worked from 2016 to 2018 at the Staatstheater Darmstadt in the theater project MADE in Germania. A connection project with.

In 2017 she took on the role of head nurse Martha Boll in the Dürrenmatt stage classic Die Physiker at the Mainz State Theater . In the 2018/19 season she will appear there in the roles of Bertha / teacher in the family play Pünktchen and Anton .

Lyon also worked, mostly in supporting roles, in several cinema and TV productions (including guest appearances in the Frankfurt Tatort ). She could be seen u. a. in the movie Before Sunrise (1995), as a prostitute in the TV film Jetzt geht gehtlich (2003, alongside Ulrich Reinthaller ) and alongside Roxane Duran in the TV docudrama War of Dreams (2018).

Liese Lyon is together with the theater director Elisabeth Gabriel and the dance dramaturge Johanna Milz founder and member of the vocal ensemble "Jodlklub". The trio sings acapella three-part folk songs and yodels from the alpine region.

Liese Lyon lives as a freelance actress and singer with her family in Frankfurt am Main .
