Little fish Ben lives with his parents in the dirty and dangerous waters off Boston . One day, when his parents are caught in a fishing net, he makes his way to his aunt Perla, who lives in a reef . The porpoise Percy shows him the way there . In the reef he meets Cordelia, an attractive fish model who was already featured on the cover of National Geographic magazine . Ben gets closer to Cordelia and falls in love with her - much to the annoyance of tiger shark Troy, who also has an eye on Cordelia and is terrorizing the residents of the reef. When Ben is threatened by Troy and his two helpers, Cordelia saves him by promising Troy to accept his pearl if he releases Ben. Among the reef residents, accepting a pearl is considered a promise of love, similar to an engagement. Troy now wants to give Cordelia a particularly beautiful pearl and is therefore aiming for the blue pearl from Yogithee. Yogithee is an ancient and wise sea turtle who lives in a shipwreck away from the reef and has special powers and fighting techniques. After some hesitation, Yogithee Ben is teaching. In the fight against Troy, Ben is supported by his friends. Finally, Ben uses a trick to lure Troy into a fishing net, where he is caught. Yogithee finally gives Ben his pearl, which he gives Cordelia and is accepted by him.

Reviews

“Disappointing cartoon that has no chance of looking at“ Finding Nemo ”. Only small children should feel at home in the cute Auntie Reef. "
