Shergo Biran (born January 4, 1979 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player and current coach .

Career

Shergo Biran played for numerous Berlin clubs in his youth. He finally got to Reinickendorfer Füchsen in 1996 through Concordia Wittenau , 1. FC Lübars , BFC Preussen and FC Berlin . With the Füchse A-youth team, he became the northeast German champion and the Berlin Cup winner in the following year and was also able to secure the top scorer in the Regionalliga Nordost . In the same year he also made the leap into the men's team.

From the Foxes he switched to Tennis Borussia Berlin for the 1999/2000 season, but came back to Reinickendorf after the first half of the season, as he was unable to collect any match practice at TeBe . In 2001 he left the foxes again and went to FSV Lok Altmark Stendal , only to land again at Tennis Borussia a year later. In the following years Biran developed into a proverbial "wandering bird": For the 2003/04 season he moved to Hansa Rostock's second team . There he was able to recommend himself for the first team through his good performances (30 goals in 42 games). However, he only made two short appearances in the Bundesliga : On the 9th matchday of the 2004/05 season he was in the home game against FC Bayern Munich in the 84th minute and on the 11th matchday in the home game against 1. FC Nürnberg in the 71st minute . Minute came on. Hansa lost both games with 0-2.

Biran left Mecklenburg for the winter break and went to the regional league for the second team of VfL Wolfsburg . For the Regionalliga promoted team he played eleven times until the end of the season, scored four goals and could not prevent the direct relegation of Wolfsburg. At the end of the season he left Wolfsburg, stayed in the Regionalliga Nord and signed with VfL Osnabrück . At Osnabrück, Biran only made four short appearances in the 2005/06 season , then left the club and played six months in the Oberliga Südwest for Eintracht Trier .

In the winter break of 2006/07 he moved to the Oberliga Nordost Nord to the leaders SV Babelsberg 03 and rose with them to the regional league at the end of the season. Biran received no contract for the regional league from Babelsberg. He registered as unemployed and continued to play for Babelsberg as a sideline for 150 euros a month. With nine goals, he became the club's top scorer in the first half of the season. During the winter break, league competitor 1. FC Union Berlin presented him with a contract and so Biran moved to Wuhlheide .

With the Unionern, Biran was able to qualify for the newly created 3rd division and quickly became a crowd favorite in Köpenick with his many goals , whereupon his contract, which expired at the end of the season, was extended to June 30, 2011 in November 2008. In the 2008/09 season he was able to celebrate promotion to the second Bundesliga with Union and winning the Berlin State Cup. Biran received approval from Union in June 2010, despite his ongoing contract, and switched to third division team Dynamo Dresden for the 2010/11 season .

After he was only used five times for Dresden during the first half of the season and remained goalless, his contract with Dresden, which was originally limited to summer 2012, was prematurely terminated at the beginning of 2011. Biran then moved to 1. FC Magdeburg , where he could not meet the expectations placed on him. He failed to score in ten games, so he left Magdeburg in June 2011 after just five months.

In early July 2011 Biran then joined the BFC Dynamo . After a good start with two goals in three games, the season ended for him on matchday 4 when he tore his anterior and posterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in the game against Torgelower SV Greif . As a result, his injury turned out to be so severe that Biran had to end his career.

Since November 2013 he has been the coach of the A-Juniors (Association League) team of TSV Rudow 1888 eV from Berlin-Neukölln. With this he just missed relegation in the 2013/14 season. For the 2014/15 season they are therefore playing in the A-Juniors national league.
