Siebertshausen is a district of the municipality of Frielendorf in the Schwalm-Eder district in northern Hesse .

Siebertshausen is located east of the main town in the middle of the Knüll Mountains in Northern Hesse . To the west is the Silbersee, an open- cast brown coal mine used from 1820 to 1960 . State road 3158 runs to the east .

The place is mentioned for the first time in 1254 in a document from the Spieskappel Premonstratensian Monastery .

As part of the regional reform in Hesse , the community of Siebertshausen voluntarily joined that of the community of Lenderscheid on July 1, 1970 , which became part of the community of Frielendorf on December 31, 1971.
