Sigrun Paulsen

Sigrun Paulsen (* 1945 in Adlum near Hildesheim ) is a German painter .

Life

Sigrun Paulsen studied literature from 1965 to 1970 at the Technical University (TU) Hanover . After the birth of her son, she studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Joseph Beuys and Ole John from 1970 to 1973 . This was followed from 1973 to 1978 by training with Hermann Bachmann and Hans Nagel at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin, where she became a master class student in 1978 . In 1980/81 she was a scholarship holder of the Karl Hofer Society and in 1994 had a working grant from the Senate for Cultural Affairs Berlin. Between 1995 and 2008 he worked in Rossbach / Zeitlofs in the Rhön. In 1996 she was Artist in Residence of the Chinati Foundation in Texas , USA. Sigrun Paulsen works and lives in Berlin.
