The Spitzberg is a 385 meter high, little prominent mountain in the southwest of Upper Lusatia .
It is one of the most westerly elevations in the northern mountain range of the Lusatian highlands . The summit is about 1.2 kilometers west of the 60 meters higher Hohe Hahn . Other surrounding mountains are the Heydelberg in the south, the Stiebitzberg in the west and the Oberhofberg in the northwest.
The mountain is located in the area of the community Schmölln-Putzkau between the districts of Putzkau in the south, Tröbigau in the north and Schmölln in the northwest.
