The Tröbigauer Berg ( Upper Sorbian Trjechowska Hora , locally : Träbcher Berg ) is a 401 meter high elevation in Upper Lusatia .
Its summit is located about one kilometer north of the center of the village of Tröbigau and fits into the northwestern foothills of the Oberlausitzer Bergland between Klosterberg and Jungfernstein . The village of Neuschmölln is located southwest of the summit .
Hydrology
East of the summit in the direction of Jungfernstein are the so-called Tocken . These are a Helokren source, which can not be pinpointed exactly, from which a source arm of the black water emerges, which unites in the Tröbigauer Oberdorf with the main arm coming from the Hohen Hahn .
Quarries
Immediately below the summit of Tröbigauer Berg, the first granite quarry in the Klosterberg area was opened in 1840 by the Ackermann families from Gaussig and Heide from Tröbigau. Two remaining holes filled with water, located directly next to each other, testify to this today, with the two water levels clearly differing from each other. With Pietschs Bruch (from 1850), Schramms Bruch (1865) and Rößlers Bruch (1895) further quarries were built around the Tröbigauer Berg.
